INDEPENDENT FAN-MADE COLOR GAME

Unofficial Pokémon color memory quiz

Study a simplified, fan-made color token for a few seconds. When its main color disappears, rebuild the shade from memory using hue, saturation, and lightness. The set includes Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Eevee, Gengar, and more Kanto favorites.

Independent, unofficial fan-made game. No official sprites, logos, cards, audio, or other franchise assets are used. Pokémon and related names are trademarks of their respective owners.

How to play the Pokémon color quiz

  1. Choose today’s shared five-token challenge or start Unlimited Practice.
  2. Study the token and focus on the named target color while the countdown runs.
  3. After the target resets to gray, adjust hue, saturation, and lightness from memory.
  4. Lock your color to compare it with the reference and earn up to 100 points.

The species name stays visible because this is not a “Who’s that Pokémon?” silhouette quiz. The challenge is color precision: can you remember whether Pikachu’s yellow leaned toward lemon or gold, or how blue Squirtle looked after the reference disappears?

Twenty-four Kanto color prompts

The collection includes Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Gengar, Eevee, Psyduck, Snorlax, Meowth, Vulpix, Dragonite, Mewtwo, Lapras, Magikarp, Oddish, Caterpie, Butterfree, Clefairy, Machop, Abra, Cubone, Poliwag, and Ponyta.

Each prompt focuses on one broad, memorable color region. The shades are screen approximations chosen for color-memory play rather than official production specifications, merchandise matching, or reference documentation.

Original local token artwork

Every visual on this page is assembled at runtime from simple local SVG circles, ellipses, paths, and text. The geometric tokens suggest broad creature traits while deliberately avoiding copied game sprites, trading cards, anime frames, logos, Poké Ball artwork, and downloaded illustrations.

The artwork is not intended as an exact depiction of any character. Keeping the tokens simple also makes the target shade the focus instead of testing whether you recognize a pose or official image.
