Information stored by the game

Toon Shade uses local storage in your browser to remember your day streak, best score, number of completed games, daily completion status, and the date last played. This information remains on the device and browser profile where you played. It is not an account and is not synchronized across devices.

You can remove this information by clearing site data for toonrecolor.com in your browser. Blocking local storage may prevent statistics from being retained, but the current game can still be played.

Sharing and clipboard access

When you choose to share a result, the site asks your browser or operating system to open its native sharing interface where supported. If native sharing is unavailable, the site may copy the prepared result text to your clipboard. Toon Shade does not automatically post the result or choose a recipient.

Server and technical information
